…tasks church on security

By Alex Olise

Youths across Nigeria have been urged not to loose faith in God and stop putting all their hope in government and human beings.

The advise was given by the Senior Pastor God’s Signal Royal Assembly, Pastor Isaac Ogbah, during this year’s Rhythm of praise organised by the church in Ogun State.

Speaking to Confiance News correspondent at the weekend, the man of God further urged the youths to be visionary by putting their faith in the almighty God.

According to him, “it is important for everybody to praise God and his son Jesus whether you are Muslim or Christian we should form the habit of praising God everyday of our life.

“God requires us more than anything hence if we love God we should do the needful by praising him, attending church service, paying your tithe and offering as well as giving to the needy,” he stated.

He noted that the purpose of the programme, which is a biaannual event, was to draw as many people as possible to come together and praise God.

The pastor advised churches across the country to put in place security measures that will check incessant attacks by insurgents.

He noted that security was not a matter that should be resolved by fasting and prayers alone, but by putting strong measures in place around churches to avoid attacks.
