Elegant photos of COVID-19 ankara designs spark reactions

Nigerians have taken to social media to express their feelings regarding some ankara COVID-19 designs posted on Instagram.

The pictures which saw the models completely covered with the designs from their heads to toes was a show of fashion ingenuity by the designer known as ceolumineeofficial on Instagram.

An Instagram user known as harmaca_mariam said, ” The work of your hand is blessed.”
“Ghana Must Go,” Nanaakuaaddo reacted on Instagram.

The pictures that was also shared on Facebook by a Facebook user- Martha Whithney Basil has also sparked heated reactions too.

Zuweira Ali, a Facebook user called it “Spider Woman”.
Oloniyo Omowunmi said,”Miss Corona.”

Maurine Bala calls it, “Lockdown”.

Abiodun Olanike, “Lagbaja Coronavirus.”
For Chidinma Jane, it is a cool dress.

The designs underscores Nigeria’s thriving fashion industry, which has one accolades both locally and internationally.

Although ceolumineeofficial may not be rated among the top 10 indigenous fashion designers in the country, her works have been worn by most stars in the country and even stood out during the 7th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA 7) held in Lagos in March, 2020.

For instance, the dress worn by actress and filmmaker, Adunni Ade was made by ceolumineeofficial.

Sola Sobowale, Nigerian film actress, screenwriter, director and producer also looked charming in the dress made by the designer, which she wore at the award ceremony.
