Veritasi Homes & Properties PLC has secured a major capital market milestone after FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited approved the listing of its N10.00 billion Series 1 Fixed Rate Bond, opening a new funding channel for Nigeria’s real estate sector.
Confiance News gathered from the April Newsletters of the organization.
The three-year bond, which carries a 20.00% fixed interest rate, was listed under Veritasi Homes’ N30.00 billion Bond Issuance Programme. The approval signals growing investor appetite for real estate-backed debt instruments on Nigeria’s fixed-income market.
FMDQ Exchange, which positions itself as a key gateway for corporate access to long-term capital, said the listing reinforces its commitment to deepening Nigeria’s debt capital markets.
For Veritasi Homes, the bond represents a structured path to funding large-scale property development without over-reliance on short-term commercial borrowing, a financing challenge that has historically constrained growth in Nigeria’s real estate industry.
The listing also adds to a string of corporate securities admitted on the Exchange in April 2026, which included Eat & Go Finance SPV PLC’s N7.76 billion Series 2 Fixed Rate Bond, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited’s N10.00 billion Series 2 Commercial Paper, and MCM Funding SPV PLC’s N1.61 billion Series 1 Fixed Rate Senior Unsecured Bond.
