‘He met with Tony Elumelu not banks’ executives,’ X user reacts to photo of Tinubu’s acclaimed meeting with bank executives

Reactions have trailed a photo shared by the official X handle of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Media centre Wednesday on his meeting with bank executives, Confiance News gathered.

 

“BREAKING: President Bola Tinubu has, today, met with bank executives on the newly introduced windfall tax,”

 

Reacting to the photo, an X user known as Aunty Ada said,”He met TONY ELUMELE not the bank’s executive.”

 

Another X user Ejay said:”So Elumelu and government officials are now bank Executives, where are the others, zenith, FCMB and First bank. We are in a long ride.”

 

“How many bank executives are here? Honestly I feel for the banks, they have issues shares for sale, unfortunately the sale share are trading far lower than their offer price on the stock exchange,” disclosed.

 

On the other hand, TJ Cool is optimistic of the positive impact of Tinubu’s policies on the economy. He said: “I know that all these will eventually result to strong and reliable Economy for the good of Nigerians 🇳🇬.”

 

Corroborating, Tunde Imolehin said:”And the man keeps working hard…despite the distractions. Governance is not a tea party. Tinubu should remain dogged and compassionate.”
