Born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, south west, Nigeria Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, a renowned Nigerian pastor and the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has joined his family, friends and congregants of his church to thank God for the grace to witness his 83rd birthday.

Confiance News reports from the official X handle of the RCCG Holy Ghost Service on Sunday.

As a way to celebrate his birthday, the church named the March Holy Ghost service, a “Special Holy Ghost Service”. An event which began in 1986 has since grown into a major spiritual gathering. It is held every March and attracts millions of worshippers from around the world.

Known for his humility and dedication, Pastor Adeboye has played a key role in expanding RCCG globally, with branches in over 190 countries.
