‎In a powerful display of unity, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have emphasized the critical need for collaboration to strengthen and protect the nation’s financial system.

‎Captured in two compelling photos, Confiance News learnt that their joint efforts highlight a shared commitment to ensuring stability, trust, and resilience in Nigeria’s banking sector.


‎The new NDIC Management, led by MD/CE Mr. Thompson O. Sunday, paid a courtesy visit to the CBN Governor, Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, at the CBN Headquarters in Abuja.


‎The CBN Governor congratulated the NDIC team on their appointments and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Two Institutions in navigating Nigeria’s evolving financial landscape. The meeting underscored the shared commitment towards safeguarding the financial system.

‎”In his remarks, NDIC’s MD/CE commended the CBN’s forex market reforms and bank recapitalization efforts, while reaffirming NDIC’s support towards ensuring a stable financial system through effective collaboration and Joint crisis preparedness,” the post indicated.
