As the world celebrates the International Women’s Day 2025, the president of the Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN), Ayo Olowookere, has reaffirmed his commitment to gey inclusivity.
Confiance News gathered that inclusivity and a sense of belonging are one of his focus areas.
He said: “We will commit to providing a unified and
inclusive organization that delivers solutions and benefits to all corporate and
Individual members.”
Olowookere’s action plan captures this year’s IWD’s theme: “Accelerate Action”, which prioritizes gender equality among individuals and corporates by creating the enabling environment for all to thrive.
Confiance News also that the
IWD is marked annually on the 8th of March to celebrate women’s achievements, educate and raise awareness about women’s equality as well as move for advancement for the course of women.
Speaking on “Accelerate Action”, the International Women’s Day official website, highlights the need to acknowledge and support strategies, resources, and activities that positively impact women’s advancement, in addition to forging implementation.
Confiance News recalls that Olowookere was elected as the President of the National Executive Council (NEC) of MBAN along with other executives on February 27.
