Lagos State Government, FirstBank and Zenith Bank have joined a growing list of public and private institutions backing the second edition of the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit, Confiance News has learned.

‎Other organisations confirmed to be supporting the summit include the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), Fidelity Bank, Polaris Bank, the Africa Soft Power Group and Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG).

‎The list of backers was disclosed on Wednesday by Mighty Media Plus Network Limited, publishers of the online newspaper QEDNG, according to a statement obtained by Confiance News.

‎Themed “Creativity, Culture and Nigeria’s Next Chapter,” the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit 2.0 is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

‎Confiance News
gathered that the summit will convene leaders from the creative industries, business, government and technology to explore how stronger collaboration among government, investors and creative practitioners can drive growth, job creation and sustainable development in the sector.

‎FirstBank, NLNG and Polaris Bank are returning for a second consecutive year, having supported the inaugural edition of the summit in 2025.

‎The organisers also acknowledged media and logistics partners, including Abelinis Limited, ID Africa, Integrated Digital Communications Limited (IDCL) and IBST Media, whose contributions are helping to deliver this year’s edition, it was gathered.

‎Publisher says every contribution advances creative economy

‎Speaking on the rising support for the event, QEDNG publisher and convener of the summit, Olumide Iyanda, said the participating institutions share a common belief in the potential of Nigeria’s creative economy.

‎”We appreciate every organisation that has chosen to support the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit. Some have provided sponsorship, while others are contributing through partnerships, media collaboration and logistics,” Iyanda said, according to the statement sighted by Confiance News.

‎He added that every contribution matters because it helps create a platform where leaders from different sectors can hold meaningful conversations about the future of Nigeria’s creative economy.

‎Confiance News further learned that the summit is designed to foster collaboration among policymakers, investors, business leaders and creative professionals, with Iyanda noting that sustained partnerships remain essential to unlocking the sector’s full potential.

‎Aladekomo, Adebayo, star-studded speaker list confirmed

‎It was earlier confirmed that Sir Demola Aladekomo, executive chairman of SmartCity Resorts Plc, will chair the summit, while Ife Adebayo, national coordinator of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) programme at the Bank of Industry, will deliver the keynote address.
