The agreement formalises the operational handover of the facility, positioning it as a hub for digital skills development and industrial innovation in the South East region.
Delegation tours Enugu Smart School Initiative
Beyond the signing, the NCC delegation also visited the Enugu Smart School Initiative, a programme integrating technology into classroom teaching and learning to prepare students for a digitally driven economy, Confiance News gathered.
The initiative is designed to equip young Nigerians with the technological competencies needed to compete in an increasingly digital job market, sources close to the visit confirmed.
NCC reaffirms commitment to digital inclusion
The Commission said it remains committed to supporting initiatives that expand digital inclusion, strengthen innovation, and develop the talent required to drive Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda, Confiance News confirmed.
The Enugu partnership adds to a growing list of NCC-backed infrastructure and education projects aimed at bridging Nigeria’s digital divide across states.
