It is common knowledge that murder is the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another, however, the meaning extends beyond that.

That was the submission of one of the Pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Solid Rock Parish, Adetunji Adeyinka on Sunday.

Citing the book of  1John 3:15 (KJV) he said: ‘So anyone that hateth his brother is a murderer. Therefore, whosoever hateth his wife is a murderer. Whosoever hateth his husband is a murderer.”

Confiance News gathered that the real nature of a believer (a christian) is to eschew sin which includes murder.

Pastor Adeyinka noted that the nature of a believer is important because the believer sometimes does not understand what is embedded in him.

“A believer needs to understand where he or she can flourish,” he said.

In contrast, he stated that the by nature, the unbeliever’s father is the devil.

“The Nature of the devil is that he is not just a liar but the father of lies,” he explained.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it,” the book of John 8:44 revealed.

The RCCG Pastor added that, “there are times that as a believer you may sin but you’re just unable to continue to do it.This is because of the seed of God in you.”
