Man will use an average of 9.9 years on the mobile phone, which explains how distracting the device can be.
Confiance News gathered from Bola Odutola, the Pastor of Solid Rock Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on Sunday.
“Phone is a distraction. In a life time, you will use 9.9 years on the phone. A third to sleep and you use 5.5 years to be in traffic, what time remains then?  The devil has hijacked 9.9 years of the life of a human. Most people can’t drop their phone for anything,” he lamented.
The clergy stated that the inventor of the mobile phone regretted his invention because of the way people are glued to their phones.
“Martin Cooper regretted inventing the phone. He never knew that people will be so tied down to it as it wasn’t his intention for inventing it. He lamented the invention,” he disclosed.
Odutola, however, urged christians to be focused on Jesus Christ in order to achieve good success.
“Anytime you have time for God and are fully concentrated in Him, a new life begins for you, you will be successful. You have succeeded,” he continued.
