Tony Elumelu receives Nigerian Army award for empowering widows of slain soldiers (Photos)

Tony Elumelu, a renowned entrepreneur and Chairman of Heirs Holdings, has been decorated with a Nigerian Army award by Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, for the support of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) in empowering widows of slain Nigerian soldiers who lost their lives fighting to keep Nigeria safe and secure.

Reacting to the award, Elumelu said,” This recognition symbolises our vision at Heirs Holdings- to improve lives and transform Africa through strategic investments and our direct contribution to economic prosperity by empowering youth and the disadvantaged citizens with the right economic support they need to prosper.
