‎‎United Capital Plc, a prominent Pan-African investment bank and financial services group, has reaffirmed its market dominance with its unaudited H1-2025 financial results, showcasing significant growth in key performance metrics.

‎Confiance News reports from a statement issued by the company on Thursday.

‎The Group achieved a 57% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching ₦23.76 billion. Profit Before Tax grew by 52% to ₦13.79 billion, and Profit After Tax rose 54% to ₦11.89 billion. Shareholders’ Funds also climbed 25% to ₦166.91 billion, bolstering confidence in the Group’s long-term prospects. In light of this robust performance, United Capital announced an interim dividend of ₦5.4 billion (₦0.30 per 50 kobo ordinary share).

‎This performance marks a continuation of United Capital’s five-year growth trajectory. Since H1-2020, the Group’s profitability has soared by over 522%, from ₦1.91 billion to ₦11.89 billion, with revenue rising from ₦4.45 billion to ₦23.76 billion. These results highlight United Capital’s ability to deliver consistent value amid evolving economic conditions.

‎During the Group’s Investor Call held yesterday in Lagos, Mr. Peter Ashade, Group Chief Executive Officer of United Capital Plc, commented on this performance saying:

‎_“We are pleased to report that we ended the first half of the year on a strong and positive note. Once again, we have continued our track record of excellence and strong financial performance, which reflects the strength of our diversified business model. Last year, we made history by declaring our first-ever interim dividend, alongside a 2-for-1 bonus issue, which was met with great enthusiasm by our shareholders. This year, we continue to honour our commitment by declaring another interim dividend of ₦5.4 billion, reinforcing our dedication to delivering sustainable returns and enhancing shareholder value.”

‎Moving forward, United Capital is committed to expanding its retail footprint and strengthening its presence across Africa. Following its recent entry into Francophone West Africa, the Group continues to execute its Pan-African strategy with precision. With a solid foundation and clear vision, United Capital is poised to close the year strongly, delivering sustained value to shareholders, clients, and communities across the continent.
