Reactions have trailed the recent appointment of the wife of the late Biafran warlord and the All Progressive Grand Alliance Stalwart, Bianca Ojukwu, for accepting the position of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.

Confiance News gathered from trending tweets on X recently.

Most X users are of the opinion that she should not have accepted the appointment because of what her late husband, Odumegwu Ojukwu represents in the struggle from the establishment of a Biafran nation.

Some are of the view that the current administration is already tilting towards failure owing to the high rate of poverty, corruption, etc which characterises it.

An X user, I_am Ify said: “BREAKING 💯

Bianca Ojukwu is on her own !!

Chief Tinubu should know that Ndigbo are not fellow bigots. They don’t vote based on ethnicity, Tribe and religion.

To earn an Igbo vote, you must be competent and qualified, and Chief Tinubu, in many ways, has proven not qualified to be president of the federal Republic of Nigeria and that is now clear to everyone.

Dr. Eke rejected Tinubu’s CBN appointment.

He didn’t die and didn’t want to be associated with the Aso Rock gang and cartel.

Let Bianca Ojukwu do whatever she likes. She is definitely on her own.”

Chigbogu Obi added: “A government holding a man who is representing her husband very well,I have not heard her call for MAZI NNAMDI KANU release! Very sad.”

Eziokwu bu ndu retorted: “If she takes that position I will lose all the respect I have for her. How can you choose to work with the most corrupt government on this planet earth.”

On the flip side, C Prince argued: “Bianca will prosper well with her new appointment and will bring investment into the SE, you cry marginalisation yet you reject federal jobs madam pls grow up.”
