There is need to strive for the indescribable gift which embodies joy, peace and completeness.

Tunji Adeyinka, Pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Solid Rock Parish, Ojodu, Lagos State, admonished during his Christmas sermon.

Confiance News gathered that the indescribable gift can only be got from God through Jesus Christ.

“The gift of God that is contained in Christ cannot be described and it is not exhaustible,” he explained.

Citing 1Corinthians 2:9-16 in the bible as his text, he noted that the gift is unique and conspicuous.

Expatiating, he narrated the story of a man who was born blind and how the indescribable gift he received from God changed his life.

The cleric who drew inference from the book of John 9:1-37, stated how the blind man gained his sight after his encounter with Jesus Christ and how neighbours, the Pharisees, his parents and the entire community reacted to the miracle.

Pastor Adeyinka pointed that when you receive the indescribable gift, you will have to contend with people around you because they will doubt your new identity just like the case of the blind man.

“There will be different people that will want to question the gift. They will want to rubbish the gift,” he said.

He added that the indescribable gift is important because it announces you before you talk.

“The gifts will do the teaching, because you don’t really have to teach,” he added.

Pastor Adeyinka, however, noted that the blind man did not only receive the gift of sight but the ultimate gift of salvation.

He noted that the greatest loss in life is for one to have a solution inside and be looking for the same solution all over the place.
