The first thing that God commanded man to do is to take care of the garden, which implies that God created him to work.

Pastor Tunji Adeyinka of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Solidrock Parish made this statement while delivering a sermon to the congregants of the church on Sunday.

Citing the book of Genesis 2:15 from the bible, he said that God placed man in the garden to keep the garden. God first gave him a work before he gave him a wife.

“If you don’t have a work, you have no business having a help meet,” he noted.

He said a man that takes responsibility is a man that God can trust.

“If we man up; our lives will be better. The world will be a better place. Many destinies are attached to him. If he gets it right, they will get it right,” Pastor Adeyinka said.

Confiance News learnt that God has given you everything that you need to succeed.

He stressed the fact that many destinies are tied to a man.

He said: “Man is a very important actor in the hand of God and it is important that he must see himself as one who holds the destiny of several.

“There are some destinies that will not be fulfilled if you are not fulfilled. A man must understand that he is not the only one created, destinies are tied to him.

“So many homes are scattered today because the father scattered it. So many homes are today destroyed because the father’s destiny was destroyed.”

Adeyinka noted that there is need for a man to accept his help meet.

“Some men have help meets in their homes but they don’t allow them to help them,” he said.
