Zenith Bank customers lament over inefficiency of bank’s mobile App

Zenith Bank Plc has been trolled by tweeps who were stranded due to inability to carry out transactions owing to alleged network downtime of the bank’s App.

Confiance News gathered from micro-blogging platform, Twitter, on Sunday.

Some of their complaints include alleged indiscriminate debits on their accounts; inability to access the app for transactions; alarming sms charges, among others.

Confiance News, however, handy to collate some of the complaints levelled against Zenith Bank by its customers.

Another tweep known as ɥɐʎǝǝɹnN on Twitter advised,
“I really think Zenith bank should quit banking and open a restaurant or something.”

Confiance News gathered that as at Monday most of its customers were yet to access the App.
Reacting, ade jedi said, “what is the problem with you people, Monday morning when business is meant to kick off, your mobile app won’t work leaving us stranded unable to perform any transaction. This is worst than the worst🤬🤬🤬🤬.”

“This is rubbish
For the past 3 days my app has not been working

People’s business are pending because of your app problem
I regret ever having an account with you,” Victory Emeri lamented on Twitter.

Gentlefire decried his plight with a show of evidence.

He said, “@ZenithBank I almost fell cause of you guys this morning.
See.”

what is it?🤦🏽‍♂️,” Another tweep bemoaned.

 

Reacting to the numerous complaints, the bank took to its official Twitter handle to appeal to its customers to send Direct Messages (DMs) on their issues while it worked on resolving the network downtime.

“Kindly be informed that the App is currently unavailable. However, our support team are currently working it,” it tweeted.

Some of the customers who sent DMs to the bank on their matter were still not attended to.

Sally Suleiman, recounted how the bank ignored her DMs on Twitter.

“Been waiting for someone to respond to me on Zenith bank online chat for 2hours now, not responding to DMs too. Zenith has showed us pepper today,” she lamented.

Although, the bank had promised to address the issue, more complaints continued to pour in on Twitter even as at when the reported was filed.

Zenith Bank is a leading multinational financial service provider based in Nigeria with a Market Capitalisation of over N789. 62 billion.
