Africa, no doubt, is a continent with rich culture and home to varied festivals.
The West African cultures of Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa-Fulani peoples to the Bantu cultures of east, central and southern Africa; in addition to the Berber cultures of North Africa, is a testament of Africa’s rich culture.
Confiance News gathered that these cultures come with their unique festivals which are not limited to the Timkat festival of Ethiopia (East Africa); Durbar Festival celebrated in northern Nigeria (West Africa); Ouidah Voodoo festival of Benin (West Africa); and the Mawazine festival of Morocco (North Africa).
In unraveling the mystery behind these cultures, Documentary and Sport Photographer, Taofeek Adeshina, took a tour to some parts of Africa and created a compendium of photos, which has continued to tickle minds and appeal to the senses.
Here are some of the photos culled by Confiance News for your viewing pleasure.
