‘We’ve been stewing in heat and darkness for five days,’ Ikeja Electric customer laments

Customers of Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (DisCo) have decried the blackout they experienced in some parts of Lagos State.

Confiance News gathered that the power supply was withheld since Friday, making it difficult dor most residents to carry out their daily endeavours.

According to an X user, the book of Sage(I make amazing books),”We’ve not had light in the entire Ojodu since Friday. Apparently @IkejaElectric is doing some sort of maintenance which was neither announced nor communicated. We’ve been stewing in heat and darkness for five days now.

This. Is. Insane.

Insane!”
