Not being aware of a war is tantamount to losing the war; we are fighting an internal war.
Confiance News gathered from the Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Solid Rock Parish on Sunday.
“If you don’t know that you’re fighting a war, you’ve already lost the war.
The war we are fighting is internal,” he disclosed.
Citing the book of Romans 7:23-25 from the scriptures, he noted that service is done with the mind.
Odutola pointed the need for the christian to consistently ward off evil thoughts since the mind is the theater of the battle.
“Whenever evil appears in the television of your mind, change the channel,” he advised.
“The word of God is the bullet; the heart of man is the riffle. If the riffle is sick, the bullet will not move,” the clergyman explained.
He noted that the word of the king denotes power.
The Provincial Pastor frowned at christians whose words ought to be a display of power but have failed in that regard because of unrighteousness.
While stressing the need for the christian to live right, he made reference to the book of Isaiah 32:1 and pointed that a king is installed through righteousness.
“Righteousness is the only thing that installs a king. Righteousness is what installs you as a king. A king elect is not a king, until the day he is installed,” he harped.
Odutola revealed that the original plan is for the words of a christian to be inundated with power.
“The game plan is that every word you speak must carry power.
In the supernatural world- these two kingdoms (i.e the kingdom of God and the kingdom of satan), are powered by words. If Satan operates with words, then he can be blocked by words,” Odutola revealed.
He noted that if the christian prevails in the battle of the mind, every other thing will fall in place.
